Bravo to those who share knowledge. CBC is broad and that is just a handful. Let's also consider acute and chronic presentations, age, people on treatment, chronic conditions and mostly abnormalities in reticuloendothelial system

it is not a definitive test yet prioritised by most doctors in big hospitals in Uganda I.e mulago, mengo, nsambya but it doesn't give conclusive pathogens. so it should be put down and smear tests better used first for proper diagnosis and prescription of medicine. it's no wonder many patients return to most of those hospitals, because a CBC is much more of guess work and suspicion rather than a definitive test. so we r giving more money to India by buying their medicine repetitively
