I don’t have an opinion on either Le sserafim or katseye bc I don’t listen to either of them that much anymore, but it’s me was genuinely just a song made to go viral. the empty chorus doesn’t do it any favors and this is especially sad considering that illit has title tracks like do the dance and cherish that are actually fantastic songs. it’s me is honestly the only group only song I don’t love, it’s not bad and I wouldn’t skip it, but I’m not going out of my way to play it unless it’s in a shuffle. iconic by mistake is just… loud. im confused as to why katseye’s producers didn’t keep going with a touch and gabriela vibe, considering those two songs were more popular than debut and gnarly respectively and, out of all of their title tracks, are the most similar and their best title tracks imo

People are then going to say that this lady is a hater, however she’s pointing out very obvious things that make sense, those groups aren’t “iconic” they are just viral popular groups with controversies going on about them, and the GAP collab with Katseye was the most “iconic” thing about them. What these three groups have in common is that the lyrics to their music lately is taking a sharp decline and it’s being covered as “it’s just fun music” until you pay attention to their releases since last year, yeah no it’s not good
