@amysheppardfood: Welcome to my new series, 'Cooking like it's the 90's'...and I'm not sure that there's a more 90's dinner than Findus Crispy Pancakes... It was a sad day when these little pancakes were discontinued. They were usually burnt on the outside and molten lava on the inside...but still so good! I've cheated a bit with these and used mini wraps and for a really retro feel I used crushed Frazzles...and I'm not going to lie, I think these are better than the original! ...honestly the absolute cheek of me, serving salad with some frazzle coated wraps like it's an actual proper meal I've written up the recipe below, let me know in the comments what 90's favourite I need to make next, Amy x Makes 8 'pancakes' 2 x 120g bags of frazzles 1 egg beaten 8 mini tortilla wraps 125g tub of mature cheese spread. 8 slices of ham 16 slices of gouda Oil for frying Crush the Frazzles by putting them in a freezer bag and rolling them until you get a crumb. Place the crumb on a dinner plate. Crack the egg into a small bowl and beat. Spread a thin layer of mature cheese spread on half of one side of the tortillas, spreading it right up to the edge. Lay a slice of ham over the tortilla, leaving a centimeter gap around the edge. Place 2 folded slices of gouda on the half of the tortilla where the cheese spread is. Fold the ham and tortilla over the top of the cheese. Brush the tortilla on both sides, all over with beaten egg. Place the wraps in the crumbs, turning them over and pressing down until coated. Press the edges of the tortillas together. Don't worry if it doesn't stick all the way around Heat a good glug of oil in a non-stick pan. Add the wraps and fry on a medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the crumb is golden brown and the cheese has melted. #cookinglikea90smum #90#finduscrispypancakes #homemade
