Guys what if that’s why he so heavily relied on the pensieve—to organize all his memories of different lifetimes so he could keep track of what actually happened in which one. There’s no way someone as smart as him needed to check his own memories in the pensieve that frequently for just ONE lifetime 👀

Harry Potter and the methods of rationality is a fanfic but dumbledore is so much cooler. He actually broke into the department of mysteries and listened to every single prophecy. This explained why he was so nosy and mysterious and making strange sacrifices. He did what he did because he knew it was the only chance at victory, because he saw it in the prophecies.

I think he always knew everything because of the chocolate frog cards. He always said it was his favorite thing he’d ever done. And there were tons of them. How many did Ron say he had? ALL of those moving dumbledores heard everything and reported back to him if the needed to.
