watched ur vidéos, created my own model, used separate bid/ask data and tick data for a small range to compare. Sharpe of 0.8 and 8% on average per year for a decade, similar results in sample and oos. I know it's not much, but it's a good first step. Thank you

Not from a guru but just something I was wondering but don't know how to apply the math. Let's say instead of focusing on trying to find the best strategy with edge/delta, we could theoretically find an asset which on average present  atleast has 2 to 3 trading days out of the month where the strategy "does well". Let's also say you start each day with a limited amount of $200 for example and the approach is to risk 40% of CURRENT BALANCE to make 50% per trade. Technically if you lose your $200 for 19 out of the 20 trading days and have 2 days where you 10x that $200, you're break even. I'm in no way saying that to 10x the 200 on any given day is easy, as best cause scenario is 6 winning trades in a row but you still might hit that upper limit before hitting the lower limit (blowing the 200) on a good day of trading while taking some losses depending on the distribution... even by luck maybe. Let's assume trading fees and slippage are not an issue. I'm just wondering if simple risk management such as a scenario like this is cable of saving a strategy with very little edge. Hopefully you will see this. Thoughts?
