my mother was also very religious and didn't teach me sht about period so my first tampon went just half way in. Also I was taping the pads the sticky side up to myself. Because nobody ever told me how to do that. I fcking struggled for years until I figured it out all by myself.

Well.. My mom died when I was 5. My Dad raised me. Ofc he didn't know shit about a tampon. My friend talked me into using one when we going swimming...I was only 13. I put it in the correct hole, but only like half way. For A LONG time. Well, several months. Nobody ever showed me. I didn't learn the correct way until I was almost 16. If no one teaches you...
