Completely agree.. The presence of colourism in poc communities only proves the internalised desire to adhere to whiteness and get as close as they can to it. In an ideal world we have a unified stance of whiteness but unfortunately there will always be a group of people; black, East Asian, south Asian etc, that will hold whiteness over themselves for a sliver of recognition. It’s sad.
