@ashandthechaos4: MY PR PEPPER STEAK #fyp #puertoricanfood #bistec #DinnerIdeas #steakrecipe MY PR PEPPER STEAK Cut up 1/2 green pepper n 1/2 of red 2 yellow onions into rings MARINADE: Handful of fresh garlic grated or chopped 2 HEALTHY tbs of sofrito 1 Health tsp soy sauce 1/2 tsp adobo 1 HEALTHY tsp complete 1/2 HEALTHY tsp oregano Packet of Sazon con achiote Cut steak into strips I use sirloin rinse w cold water Soak in milk for 15 min it will act like a tenderizer and make the meat velvety After the 15 min rinse w cold water PAT IT DRY!! Let meat sit in marinade for 30 min Heat up about tablespoon of oil on medium heat sprinkle About tbsp of sugar let it get brown medium heat not HIGH Start searing meat in batches just for a nice color not to cook it After all meat is seared add all meat back into pot add 1/2 c water cover let the water evaporate REPEAT this step one more time After the second time of the 1/2 c of water add onions n peppers let it get some color raise the heat a little After onions n peppers get a little color add 1/2 c of water n 2 tablespoons of vinegar (start off little work ur way up) Cover n cook for 8-10 min on medium HOPE U LIKE IT ❤️
