I have the utmost respect for your story and where you came from. It really resonates with me. I walked a similar path. I was raised by a single mom who worked as a housekeeper. We grew up in Short Hills, NJ, an upper middle class town, but we were one of the poorer families there. What my mom lacked in money, she made up for in strength, faith, and determination. She taught me to keep moving forward no matter the circumstances. Thank you for sharing your story. It means a lot.
