@bostonglobe: Connor Hardy, the Boston police officer who went viral for juggling a soccer ball with World Cup fans earlier on Saturday, has had some practice. The 14-year veteran of the department played soccer in high school and at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire. “I had a little background,” he joked, standing inside Fan Fest Saturday afternoon.
