Everyone saying penicillin and amoxicillin? What if you’re allergic then what do they give bc I’m highly allergic. I’m about to be 31 weeks on Wednesday so don’t know yet if I have it but nervous now knowing everyone is getting that antibiotic when I’m highly allergic lol

My dr told me if I test positive and I go into labor to get to the hospital with in a couple hours but if the fluid is green or yellow to get there with in an hour. Are yalls drs not explaining nothing to yall?

I never had it with my first 3 boys, and had it with my 4th. They gave me antibiotics before I had him and we were good. No issues whatsoever. He’s a healthy 3 year old little boy now.

I had it. It’s a super normal thing that happens in pregnant women. You get antibiotics every 4 hrs until birth. If your water breaks, they require you to go to the hospital instead of laboring at home first because they like to get at least 2 rounds of antibiotics in before baby is born

I tested positive for it too but they didn’t tell me until after I was induced. They just gave me antibiotics the whole time I was in labor and my baby was born healthy no problems!!

I was positive with my first. Got antibiotics during labor through an IV. Zero issues at all. Honestly, very uneventful part of childbirth.

Negative with my first positive with my second she said it could switch week by week which is crazy. I just have an antibiotic in my IV. Zero issues.

Everyone literally carries it. It comes and goes. When you go into labor you just get an abx. I’ve never heard of a bad experience with this.

I was gbs positive they just gave me a bag of fluids before I gave birth they like to give you to but I didn't have enough time before she arrived but I got one and she was fine just when your in labor go in don't wait
