i wouldn't say it's romantic but it is realistic. human beings are social creatures and being in a group is important. I know almost all of you would have woken up at least one person in that situation. I'm surprised he lasted a whole year alone, it would explain the psychological impact

Watch the movie again but slow if he don’t wake her up she would have died. Everybody would’ve died so she a be alr they made a lovely utopia behind.Very romantic

I can’t stand this movie or the actor. Watched it once. Never again. It glamorizes how women will settle and be with a man if he batters her and makes it where he’s the only option. It reminds me of the woman who was stalked by a man , put him in jail, and when he got out he threw acid on her disfiguring her. She then married him and stayed with him because who else was going to love her after the acid attack. Reminds me of how our grandmothers were trapped in toxic abusive relationships because they felt like they had no choice. It’s the “oh he hits you cause he likes you” argument. Nothing is romantic or desirable about this movie or situation.

This is literally how they brainwashed our mom's, us and our daughters....with these fairytales, romance movies etc. its never been about what we need as wmn but rather what the mn want. they'll frame the enslavement(marriage) of us as something to strive for rather than what to avoid. we lose everything...our identity, our autonomy, our sanity, our health, our independence, our youth...all for one special day in a white dress🥺🥺🥺
