@sherrirae13: Part 1: DOC CRIES TEARS WHEN HIS CALVES LEAVE. Brahmans are highly intelligent & emotional. I haven’t posted this before because if you’re unfamiliar with cattle people may think 1) he’s an aggressive bull 2) we’re cruel for not letting him keep his daughters & sons 3) that his tears are like human tears. Doc adores his calves & when they’re 1st born, he will squeeze in between us and the newborn so we can’t see. He’s very protective of them. Doc will have an emotional response to Beaux being loaded in the trailer & leaving - snort, growl, run, & toss his head plus tears. He will also causually walk to the pond to cool off a half mile away right he after leaves. No more looking for him or mourning. Momma cow will call some more but she is thin & will have health problems if we kept big Beaux on her. The only “fighting anger” we’ve ever seen in Doc is when he’s introduced to another bull. Even then, I can feed him a cube & pet him while he snorts, blows, & paws at the ground wanting to fight a bull. I don’t actually do that but he doesn’t lose his head & start attacking people or us. Doc’s big emotions are what makes me adore this bull! ❤️❤️ ❤️ #bull #cattle #Brahman #farmlife #cow
