Louder for the people in the back! 📢 I 100% agree with this video. The show is bad because the writing is flat, the pacing is a rushed mess, and the timeline jumps are completely muddled. We wanted an Off Campus level masterpiece, but instead we got a total disappointment.

I never read the book but something wasn’t clicking for me from episode one. Imagine my shock when we find out Sam didn’t know the entire time. It only left me even MORE confused why he was so mad Percy showed up for the funeral when he was the one who broke up with HER or why Delilah was treating Percy like a pariah when she didn’t know either?! Just a mess.

I didn’t read the book but I could tell something was WAY off. Like they had a 5 year first love kind of thing and they just breakup at the dock and don’t talk for 10 years? What!! He didn’t know about Charlie? He NEVER chased her or went to look for her, they never talk again? Makes zero sense.

I hate to be negative about it. But this might honestly be one of the worst adaptations. There’s only so much I feel like the actors could do, the writing just did it so much injustice. It felt so off from characters and a whole different story really

I’m usually ok with changes in adaptations but I am so ANGRY that Sam’s hot and cold attitude and negligence wasn’t addressed satisfactorily AT ALL??? Percy’s behavior was messy but Sam always made her so insecure!!!! And why WHY was Charlie portrayed like that????

The book was magical and perfect. They literally had all the material in their hands to make it straight out of the book, why'd they change it? I was really disappointed, the only thing that was good, was the soundtrack.
