I'm starting my first year in August! Could you do a high school classroom must haves ?? Like amazing shopping or ikea. I'm having trouble trying to see what all I need for my new classroom :)

People forget that Education is so fundamental to the development of literally everything in our country that employers literally look for 3 things on your resume: Your high school diploma, a college degree, MAYBE a graduate degree. And if you don’t have any education, most times almost no one will want to hire you, including the military. And TEACHERS are literally the people who first teach EVERYONE in this country and in the world how to LEARN! Academic discipline is learned from teachers first in school which literally translates everywhere in life. So being a teacher is one of the most important jobs in my opinion

Also, all the hours that we work without pay because it’s not in our contract hours. Like do people really think we get grading, meetings, forms… Etc during our work hours? This all happens outside of our working hours.

Clocked some of my overtime hours and for three weeks straight I worked over 80 hours a week 🫠 but I shouldn’t get summers off… well I actually don’t but anyways
