I get that 😂 not sure why my comment triggered you so much I stated a fact. I also worked in restaurants but maybe because we are from different countries things get understood and treated differently. In the UK where I managed a kitchen at the airport we would refuse you service if you said you have avocado allergy. We simply wouldn’t be able to ensure there is no risk of cross-contamination in a kitchen that deals with avocados because this is not one of 12 listed allergens so we don’t have special process to exclude it. For example in case of known allergens like peanut we have separate blenders, scoops, cutting boards for it and things that touched peanut don’t get put in a dishwasher. Basically anything that is porous including plastics will not be in contact with the allergen in whole production process until it reaches customer. From your post it seemed like you are allergic and your comment indicated you don’t have an allergy. You may want to figure out what is causing this reaction as it could be something serious and it could get worse over time affecting more food groups. Maybe it actually is a latex allergy?
