I genuinely don't understand why some ppl switch up so quickly. when charles is winning, getting podiums, or pulling off incredible drives, everyone is there to praise him and call him one of the best on the grid. but the moment he goes through a difficult period, suddenly ppl start act like he's talentless, washed, or doesn't deserve his seat. he's had a rough stretch, yes. he's made mistakes, yes but since when did a few bad races erase everything he's achieved? drivers are human beings, not machines. they make mistakes, they lose confidence, they have bad weekends and sometimes things just don't go their way. that doesn't make them bad drivers. what makes this even more frustrating is that charles has stayed loyal to the team that messing him up through years of ups and downs. he's carried expectations on his shoulders for so long and despite all the setbacks, he's continued to fight. nobody is more disappointed in those mistakes than he is. he doesn't need thousands of people reminding him that he crashed; he already knows. supporting a driver shouldn't only happen when they're winning. anyone can support success. real support is standing by someone when things aren't going well and believing they'll bounce back. if you're there for the victories, you should be there for the struggles too. a few crashes don't suddenly erase his talent, his speed, his racecraft, or everything he's done for the team. this is a rough chapter, not the end of the story. so instead of tearing him down every chance you get, maybe let the man breathe, learn from his mistakes, and come back stronger. at the end of the day, we're all hoping to see him succeed again, and i'd rather support him through a difficult period than only show up when it's easy.
