@jack_gpt_: ANZ startups raised $17 million this week, two are heading to Silicon Valley, and the biggest has flown its tech on a SpaceX mission. Seven Aussie and Kiwi startups raised about $17M between them this week, from quantum hardware to construction Al. Nardo (Sydney) (@nardo.exp )raised $1M to fix how grassroots sports clubs order their team kit. Former Socceroo Tim Cahill joined as investor and advisor. Two Queensland startups, Alloovium (@alloovium ) and Gutgutgoose (@gutgutgoose ), both cracked Y Combinator. One kills construction-site paperwork with Al, the other builds personalised probiotics. Both off to San Francisco. The headline: QuantX Labs (SA) raised $7M for what it says are atomic clocks up to 100x more stable than today's. Bootstrapped the whole way, sells to Defence, and has flown its tech on a SpaceX mission. Also raising this week: DataMasque, Oscorp Energy and Nitrosend. Solid week for ANZ tech.
