That’s life. It’s the 150mil of Americans that are invested in the market that is riding his coattail and every company there is in the US making themselves rich as well. Elon made a lot of people RICH. My portfolio gone up 45% this past year.

@choco: Congress could easily cut a check to every poor person in America. Not only that, they could cut a check to every future person, let that money compound over time, and have that future person be wealthy the day they were born. But guess what, then that person would have no incentive to work. And American would no longer be a super power if our people didn’t work their lives away.

You're smarter than this. Most of his money isn't liquid. How many people have jobs because he has that $1T invested in companies. If he took it out in cash gave everyone $3000. How many smaller businesses would collapse?
