They did a lot to build the interpersonal relationships in rebirth. Barrett and Aerith don’t talk to each other much in the original, the team ups and banter add a lot of weight to the game.

This game did SUCH a good job at making them feel like a real family. The banter and everyone interacting with eachother is great, like Yuffie and Red being the same age basically so they're like siblings almost annoying Cloud 🤣
