I'm with Amazon seller because of the flexibility in product and the business overall. Versus brand you stuck with the brand or unless you rebrand. But both are great business model! Way to go yall 🤗🤗

Tried retail arbitrage on Amazon and didn’t profit much. I would definitely go with clothing brand if your creative and have a good vision. You can scale a brand up over time and the margins make more sense. Amazon fees are way too high. The profit margins are low doing retail arbitrage.

As a brand owner, I choose Amazon seller. 😆 I’ll be headed that direction soon, however the best point is the email list. THAT will always be gold. And Shopify has shut down stores and have done shady stuff in the past. No one really has control on other platforms. It could all be gone including Shopify, unless you build your website on your own server.

you did the hard part .. shopify is hard for many people. Amazon has its own customers. I would say having your own website might be best depending on what you sell cbd, riflescopes etc
