The team was huddled up at the end of the day, overheated, exhausted, talking through what got done and what was left. Out of nowhere she walked over to us, asked if she could pray over us, and did. Right there in the driveway. I’ll never forget that moment. A year later, that same team is now finishing our third national contract, running data center work in Louisiana, and managing builds across four states. The jobs got bigger. The footprint got wider. The pressure got heavier. But none of that happens without the team that showed up that day for a French drain. Same crew. Same standard. Same hands. Almost zero turnover in an industry that loses people constantly. What I told them then is the same thing I tell them now. Every job is preparing you for the next one.
