I hate how abstraction has just been dumbed down to “I feel sad and lonely” and then the character immediately transforms. In the pilot, it was portrayed as a distortion of the mind caused by the character descending into madness. I really liked that concept.

i watched tadc with my ex boyfriend and said “jax and gangle kind of remind me of us haha. like how jax talks to her.” and he went “thats not…good..” and i really think that was the closest he ever got to recognizing his behavior
