Currently on week 2 of the Nicu, after a traumatic birth and mentally and physically, I’m so far beyond exhausted and depressed, but I’m trying 😭

Currently on week 58, it gets hard at times, especially waking up to an alarm instead of your baby cries or looking at an empty crib wishing your baby was home, but it’s getting slowly better knowing we’ll get news soon if she’ll be able to try a bottle again!

I couldn’t even begin to imagine. I was so scared I’d have to leave my twins in the NICU but luckily I didn’t. Everyone would say “the staff is great” and stuff like that but for me it was the leaving my babies there part that bothered me. I grew them in my body and I’m just supposed to leave them there alone ? I couldn’t.

Exhausted mentally and physically and emotionally drained. So far 2 weeks in the nicu and we have a long ways to go. I just want him home, I haven’t even fully processed everything fully.

When I was in the nicu God put me in a season where I knew he was testing my patience and my faith. It’s was so hard but I reminded my self we’re a day closer from taking her home. So from a Nicu mom to another your a day closer mama. Have faith in ur baby and be kind to yourself🩷

My heart goes out to you! We’re on day 18 and it’s hard. I’m exhausted from pumping every 2hrs plus I’m back to wfh and I have 2 older girls I need to also show up for.

As a former nicu mom that spent 194 days in and almost lost my baby a good bit of times I’m doing good. He will be 1 this weekend. It was really hard in the beginning but it gets easier. All you can do is pray and visit as much as you can.

Hi mama! Spent 42 days in the NICU, she has now been discharged but is home on oxygen until her lungs mature as she was born at 32 weeks. You are doing amazing, you are stronger than you think you are and what a wonderful mother you already are🥰

I had my son at 23 weeks 6 days. We’re on day 79 and it’s a daily battle for sure. Last week I feel like I hit rock bottom with all this but seeing him fight everyday makes me fight more too. To all the NICU moms on this journey my heart goes out to you all. One day at a time ladies we got this 🙏🏽🫶🏾

you will come out of this stronger than you could have ever imagined. seeing your baby like that is an emotional rollercoaster, but I promise you, she is small but strong. we are all mamas of tiny but mighty fighters. my sweet boy is now 8.5 months old and I miss how small he was. feels like so long ago, it's so bittersweet. you'll be there soon mama! ❤️

Hi mommies, I’m a first time nicu mommy and this has been THEE hardest thing I’ve ever faced in my life. We are on day 9, and I’ve really been leaning on my faith and this is def a test from God but I’m staying hopeful and showing up for my baby every single day and showing him that I am strong. Some days are just too much when I’m alone or back home and I’m having postpartum depression. But we got this God knew we could handle this. ❤️
