![I love Japanese rice balls - I had at least one tuna mayo Onigiri a day during my last trip to Japan. So I get very excited when I hear about Onigiri cafes opening up in Sydney. 📍Mogu Mogu (I youtubed the pronunciation before I recorded the VO - hopefully I said it right 😅) Yuzu pork belly Onigiri - $4.90 Tuna mayo Onigiri - $4.90 Sukiyaki M9 Wagyu Onigiri - $15 I tried 3 - like of course I had to go for the classic tuna mayo - and it tasted just how I remember the Japanese convenience store ones to be. Great ratios of tuna and mayo and the rice - they were perfect little grains of rice. The only thing is, I just wish the nori sheet was wrapped separately. I think that crisp nori crunch against the chewy soft rice is what makes an Onigiri so so good, so that’s the only thing. Also, if you know of any other Onigiri spots in Sydney you really rate - please let me know.
