I wasn't baited or enraged by your opinion, everyone is entitled to their own tastes or lack of taste. 🤭 That said, one of the reasons Mexican tacos are so incredibly good is the history behind them. A lot of Mexican cuisine was born from necessity, creativity, and making the most of limited resources. Generations of people learned how to transform simple, affordable ingredients into flavorful, memorable meals. Food is life in our culture. It's how we celebrate, connect, comfort, and show love. So while everyone is free to like or dislike whatever they want, Mexican food isn't just about ingredients, it's about tradition, innovation, family, and heart. That's what makes it special. 🌮🌮🌮🌮

The fact that this article was written, reviewed by multiple editors, and ultimately published in its final form is deeply concerning. After watching the video firsthand and interviewing you directly, the author still chose to omit substantial context that was critical to understanding the situation accurately. What is most troubling is not disagreement, but the apparent lack of effort to understand perspectives outside of the author's own experiences and assumptions. The result is an article that presents a highly one-sided narrative while leaving readers without the information necessary to form a fair and informed opinion. Journalism carries a responsibility to provide context, especially when that context materially changes the meaning of what was said. In this case, that responsibility appears to have been abandoned in favor of a predetermined narrative. In her effort to scorn and discredit you, she ultimately undermined her own credibility. You did a tik tok review on your experience. She interviewed, wrote, and published an article in a NEWSPAPER. She is paid to write content for all readers and she easily failed.

hey so this is actually coming from a genuine place because I think we have lost so much in modern discourse of like nuance and being able to hear each other and form thoughtful, informed opinions instead of just being like caught up in the propaganda. like I see you. you're a real person. you live in Phoenix. I'm also a real person who lives in Phoenix. you're reading this article and being like, she didn't get it. this is kinda ridiculous. and I saw your original video... and I thought it was ridiculous. and that the article did a fair job of pointing out some of the reasons why. but so like. where does that leave us. why is there such a wide chasm and how do we start to bridge it instead of throwing rocks at each other from either side

Bahar was recently appointed as the new food critic for the Arizona republic. The vibe from this article seems to be more of a vehicle to critique online reviewers (and in doing so hold the sort of critiques she would be providing as superior) than to actually get to the root of what you were speaking about in your original video.
