🤔 The “Skinny-Fat” Fix 🤔 If you’re fed up of being skinny fat And you want to build a lean body For 19 years of my life I was the same Until I did these three things Strength Trained 4x Week & Followed an Upper Lower Split I trained each bodypart 2 times a week And put a big emphasis on getting stronger at compound lifts Like deadlifts and chin ups Bench Press and overhead Press Squats and Lunges And rows Compound lifts should make up around 50% of your training volume And then you can sprinkle in exercises like bicep curls and tricep pushdowns A common mistake people make is using these exercises as their start point I Reduced my cardio Being Skinny Fat Comes from Having a Lack of Muscle Across Your Entire Body As someone who was just doing running as my only form of exercise I scaled this back to roughly a 1:4 cardio to strength training ratio and started making progress I recommend you to do the same And 3 I ate around my maintenance calories and had a high protein diet This is because when I was skinny fat I needed to build more muscle than burn more body fat If you have more bodyfat to lose than muscle to build I recommend being in a slight calorie deficit and still following a high protein diet Finally, remember there’s nothing wrong with being skinny fat But if you’re like me and you wanted to change it Follow those 3 tips & my page if you found this helpful
