Trying to figure out why his family isn’t coming back. This video was taken immediately after his owners walked away. An employee was on the way with food and water, but Meatball didn’t care about any of that. He just wanted his people. At nearly 6 years old, this sweet English Bulldog mix suddenly lost everything familiar because his family fell on hard times. Now he’s sitting in a shelter, confused, heartbroken, and desperately hoping this is all a mistake. Meatball is already neutered, housebroken, dog and kid friendly, and full of love. He adores tennis balls, has the cutest underbite, and is the kind of dog who just wants to be close to his people. Will not be good for prolonged exposure to outside temps due to being brachycephalic. Instead of a home, he has a tiny kennel. Instead of comfort, he has wet concrete and a metal cot. And he also has untreated skin issues on his back and tail that need veterinary care he will not receive at the shelter..
