Just went through this with my Mom. All nurses are not created equal. Some got everything they needed, didn’t wake her and barely woke me. Others, came through the door looking for the overhead light switch and a speaking volume at an “8”. Courtesy matters, folks.

You can get vitals in the dark there is screens that light up. Just let your patient know what your doing and most will sleep threw it

If someone’s completely stable, let them sleep through the night. There’s no test that you need to have to run. Sleep is natures healing.
