Behind the music Fun fact ! No members of Bad Wolves performed on the recording of my multiplatinum cover of the Cranberries song Zombie. In 2016 I recorded this song with a fellow sober coach / producer / guitar player I worked with named Philip Nasilund. Philip is a Swedish born artists and mentor who I met through my friend & former assistant Nick Ruben in Los Angeles while I was producing Westfield massacre. In 2017 after filling in for Ivan Moody on the European #FiveFingerDeathPunch tour I signed with Eleven Seven records (now BNM) Bad Wolves at the time was a progressive metal side project with no active rock radio singles. Our manager & Death punch axe man Zoltan Bathory & Allen the label owner both said we had no radio singles on our record so I went in and rerecorded the line in zombie 2016 to 2018 and submitted the track. Everyone loved it and soon after I would be sent to the studio with Dew Fulk & then Max Karon to write record and finalize Remember When & Hear Me Now as the 3 active rock singles on Disobey, forever altering the bands sound to a much wider mainstream audience. Tragically after pulling strings to get Dolores to duet the song with me she tragically passed and the rest is history. Fearing for the image of the band I was instructed to NOT DISCLOSE the fact that the band members did not actually perform this song & the rest of our debut album with the exception of the drummer who played on 65% of the songs. #fyp #zombie #coversong #badwolves #tommyvext #behindthemusic
