A good thunderstorm helps me sleep so well! We had a covered front porch with rocking chairs and a bench swing as a child and we’d sit outside and enjoy the storms. We also had a tin roof and if you haven’t heard rain on a tin roof 👌🏼puts me to sleep everytime.

Maybe it's a Southern thing, but when lightning flashes I was taught to count seconds until the thunder and that's how many miles away the storm is. Don't know how accurate it is but I still do it.
