I’m constantly trying to find ways to make holidays special while balancing all of my other responsibilities as a working mom. These Valentine’s Day decor ideas can bring some festivity into your home without the added stress. 🌹I recently bought a pack of 50 artificial rose stems off of amazon and used them in pots on my porch, weaved them into a wreath for my door and put them in vases inside. They look effortlessly gorgeous with no maintenance and I don’t have to worry about my toddler touching them. 💕I also found these cute heart stems on Amazon and used them with the roses in a few places. They are a super fun way to add a little color to any existing decor. I added these and the roses to a basic wreath that I have used for multiple holidays. When I take the decor down, I pull out whatever stems I have weaved through and simply weave new ones in. This saves me the cost of buying a new wreath for every holiday and the storage space needed for multiple large wreaths-typically all the stems fit in a small bin or bag ❤️Cutting out paper hearts is the classic Valentine’s Day activity and makes the perfect kid friendly decor. Bonus points if you let your kids color on or decorate the hearts. This adds that beautiful, full of childhood memories look to your house and takes minutes to do. I especially love this because I’m not panicked trying to keep everything perfect-my toddler grabs these, carries them around and sticks them to different places all day long and it still works. They are inexpensive and easy to replace if mistakes happen. 🎀I saw someone making these bows out of plastic tablecloths and I had to try it. You can get plastic tablecloths at the dollar store or buy a multipack online for cheap. They are super durable and mess resistant so there is no stress when my toddler touches them. A little bit of a learning curve trying to tie them so the sides are even but overall super forgiving and easy to do. Added in some paper hearts and made a fun accent wall. 📕Switched out the book display for a functional and cute decoration idea. My toddler loves this and it gets them excited about reading all of the “new,” freshly rotated books.
