@.spam4475: One thing that genuinely drives me insane about the kny fandom is how ridiculously easy it is for misinformation to spread bc who is even making these up. Mitsuri "she fought for the duration of an entire night!!” No she didn't 😭💔 And yk what's crazy?? It’s the fact that you don't even need to do some deep analysis to figure that out, like guys pls just watch the arc. The Swordsmith Village fight is ONE connected sequence of events. Everything is happening simultaneously. Mitsuri joins late, fights Zohakuten, the other battles are still happening, Tanjiro eventually finds the main body, sunrise comes, Nezuko says goodbye, Nezuko says good morning, the arc ends. That’s literally it dawg like in terms of narrative where is this entire night-long battle people keep talking about even supposed to fit 💔 do people hear "until sunrise" and immediately assume that Mitsuri was fighting for 7 hours or?? And guys pls before somebody says I'm downplaying her, that's exactly my point. Mitsuri is already impressive without people making stuff up and that’s what annoys me the most bc WHY are we acting like her actual feats aren't enough??? She fought Upper Rank FOUR. She unlocked her mark. She protected the village. She pushed herself so hard that her body was literally giving OUT like those are REAL accomplishments, why does she need fake feats on top of that 😭 and ngl I think the most ironic part is that this stuff usually hurts the character more than it helps them because then people see these bs claims and start associating the character with exaggerated fan nonsense instead of what actually happened in the story which is actually so bad. And what’s worse is once again it isn't even just Mitsuri it’s this weird thing in the fandom where people can't just like a character anymore bc for some reason literally every character has to be secretly stronger, faster, more durable, more important, fought longer, suffered more, WHATEVER. Like where did this competition even come from can we not just enjoy a character peacefully?? And at some point, in this LOVELY fandom, can we pls just use common sense? 😭 like I assure you that not everything that gets repeated 500 times is true and not every statement needs to be stretched to the most extreme interpretation possible there should never be a time where you need to give a character fake feats js for them to be respected.
