@sophiechaistudio: 🥹🏺 Day 70. I genuinely can’t believe I made it to 70 days. What was originally meant to be a 20-day pottery course in Korea somehow turned into a journey that led me to extend not once, but twice. And truthfully, I’m not quite sure how to articulate this experience yet. Not just my time in Korea, but the whole journey that began in Japan back in early February. I think that reflection will come with time. What I can say is that I’m incredibly grateful. This experience will stay with me forever. Not only because of what I’ve learned through Japanese and Korean ceramics as a craft, but because it reminded me of the beauty, kindness, and positivity that exists in the world. After a difficult period in my life, this journey was something I truly needed. It gave me the opportunity to invest myself fully in something I love, meet incredible people, and create memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Thank you, Master Lee Hyang-gu, Mrs. Jo Ok-nam, Won-jeong and Sang-hyeon at The Pottery 9 / Nam yang Studio in Icheon, South Korea.
