@krystalrose707: The Blue Skink, or the Skilton’s Skink, native to California, are small elusive lizards with serpentine like movements and are mostly active during the day. They’re detachable bright blue tail is an evolutionary adaptation that draws their predators attention away from their head. We love them not only for their beauty but because they hunt crickets beetles spiders and cockroaches. 🦎💙🥰 #ho#homesteadu#summer2026a#farmlife
