Torque changes when compounding gears not power, power is the same throughout because as torque decreases the revolutions per minute increases and keeps power (torque x RPM) the same. Think of a car, horsepower doesn’t change depending on what gear your in but you will feel a lot more torque in first gear because of the gear ratios. Hope this helps👍

I wanted to make a Non electricity elevator where you would have to use a crank to go up and down and I thought about using these type of gears because you might not be strong enough

Not to be that guy but the speed vs power analogy is mechanical advantage not a gear ratio alone. A gear ratio is simply an example of mechanical advantage there’s also pulleys, levers, etc.

What if instead of circle gear you use energy gear and make it faster or slower in time? Would that solve anything like complex gravity mechanics?

not power, torque is what you meant, P=E/t so P=F×d/t or P=F×v if the input is fix then F1× v1 = F2 × v2
