i have a WIP that from the start you know you are on a time crunch, the mc, a being of unknown powers in other humans eyes has maybe less then a month to turn a village of barely over 1000 people that barely know to hold a sword into an army because it is either that or eveyone dies for certain, if they can even keep themselves alive for a few moments more than 0 maybe she'll just be able to save more. a horrible amount will die anyway but there's this small path that might mean a few get to survive to mourn the rest
