Just because a GoFundMe gets deleted or canceled doesn’t mean donors automatically get their money back. If the organizer cancels it, they have to manually refund donors through GoFundMe. And if they’ve already withdrawn the money, GoFundMe can’t take it back from their bank account—the organizer has to refund people themselves. So deleting a fundraiser doesn’t automatically equal refunds.

Well I would of just cashed out the go fund me and given it to her. I understand it was mostly your money but at that point she still probably really needed it. Even if drugs were involved if it could have fed those kids and given them a night in a hotel then all the better. Wouldn't have got her far regardless. Broken people hurt people. Im sorry for all the bs puts a bad taste in your mouth moving forward but dont let one situation stop you from being a beautiful person to the next.

Tbh homeless people are usually dealing with drug use or lazy and entitled. NOT EVERYONE! But if you are homeless for years there is a major underlying issue.
