@managers.mentor: I saw the personality clash from day one. I ignored it. Two months later my entire team had taken sides. 👇 At first it was just friction. Different personalities. I told myself they'd figure it out. They didn't. By month two it had spread. People chose sides. Fast. I didn't have a team with a problem anymore.I had two teams. Working the same floor. Every single shift. Service suffered. Communication broke down. The energy was toxic and every guest felt it even if they couldn't name it. I finally got them both in a room. Drew the line. Made the expectation clear. But here's the thing about waiting too long...the damage wasn't just between them anymore. The team had already split. No single conversation was going to undo two months of unchecked tension. One of them adjusted. The other couldn't. Someone had to go. ##newmanager #managementtips #restaurantmanager #managertips #howtolead
Back in the day... I remember when you were there when I realized I was getting cheated on/by and within the staff. You kept it so professional. I tried, too 😅 🤷🏽♀️

two were amazing but not compatible. didn't speak to much but under their breath comments were stupid. Created a bad atmosphere. Addressed both of them apart. They eventually came to terms and exist. How do I stop this??
