@AikoandAnt: Wait this apartment is so pretty but almost 5k for a 1 bed in LA is so expensive 😳 I mean if you have the means, go for it, but you can definitely find cheaper for more. I had a 2b/2br in Hollywood (don’t say anything about Hollywood, it’s honestly not that bad) for $3,600 and it was huge. The building had a gym, rooftop hangout and 2 pools. Ktown is probably best bang for your buck. Most of the (newer) buildings have full amenities and it’s super central. Miracle mile also has some really nice places. I would stay away from Hollywood and I would stay away from DTLA, but that’s just a preference of living in a city without feeling super overwhelmed lol. Wilshire LA Brea has full amenities and I believe 1 bed rent starts around 3500.

I just moved to downtown Culver City and LOVE it! Lived in Venice for years and also loved it but it’s rowdy, and silver lake for a years and it’s cute but too hot in the summer for me
