@leeannrose731: Sometimes I feel like I don't have the right to call myself an amputee, but then I look at my feet and realize I had parts of my body literally cut off. I had to have major surgery, relearn how to walk, and go through this emotional trauma multiple times...and that's not even counting the months leading up to the amputations when we were sitting in limbo, not sure of what was going to happen. I miss my toes and sometimes I even wish I had a BKA's so I could actually have better prosthetics but this is my story and sometimes, just sometimes, I think my little feet are cute. #amputee #transmetatarsalamputations #TMAs #storytime #hospitalexperience
