I just spent about ten minutes doing a real hands-on comparison between this compact TikTok Shop fixed blade and the Spyderco Manix II I carry every day. The Manix II is still one of my favorite EDC folders. It is easy to carry, proven, and incredibly capable. But this little fixed blade surprised me. No lock to worry about, no hinge, no deployment issue, and the Kydex sheath makes it feel much more practical than I expected for quick camp, trail, and everyday utility tasks. Where the Spyderco still wins is pocket carry and refinement. Where this small fixed blade stands out is simplicity, strength, and fast access when you want a compact outdoor tool that is ready to work. For the money, this is one of those pieces of gear that makes more sense once you actually put it in your hand.
