1. Keep Your Day Job. It took me 2 years to become profitable. My active income was the only reason I survived. It removed the stress of needing money “right now,” so l could focus on the learning and process. 2. Stay Consistent. I spent 5 digits $ on blowing multiple accounts and countless hours on YouTube. They didn’t make me profitable. Putting in the work to internalize the strategy myself did. 3. The Mirror Effect. My PnL chart is a reflection of my discipline and skills. Being unprofitable just meant I wasn’t competent enough yet was did not stay consistent. I had to admit that I was not perfect and put in the work. 4. Trade Small first, then scale higher. I wish I had put more of my savings into trading in my later years. I wasted years of compounding by trying to trade the market before I was actually profitable during the start. 5. Risk over Profits. I manage risk as a priority and profits later. Being risk-averse during my trading journey helped me never blow an account and stay in the game long enough to succeed. 6. Losing is Normal. I keep in mind that I could lose at any time. When I learned to manage my losers and let the winners take care of themselves, it changed the game for me. Remember, there is no such thing as 100%. 7. Wealth is about the amount of Work YOU put in. It’s not about getting rich overnight. It took me years of work and I’m still grinding today to compound my wealth and improve my trading skills constantly. 8. Just Don’t Quit. I don’t think I’m a “genius” in trading. I still have losses every now and then.
