UPDATE: ADOPTED 🎉I wish this wasn’t his story. 💔 Splot is only 1 year old. About 50 lbs. Dog friendly. Loves people. With a deadline of tomorrow, 5/8 at 7 pm. Time stamped. He’s been in the shelter since last July. He came in after being left behind. Someone said they’d come back for him… and they didn’t. Weeks passed. Then he ended up here. And he’s just been waiting ever since. He’s overwhelmed. The shelter is loud and chaotic and he’s never had a chance to settle or feel safe. What you’re seeing is stress — not who he is. A puppy who never was able to grow up with stability or love. He needs an experienced, calm home where he can decompress. No kids. Just patience, structure, and time. Slow intros with resident dogs & a nurturing environment. He is a volunteer and staff favorite, but seeing him suffer like this day after day is painful. 💔 Splot is scheduled to be euthanized tomorrow if no foster or adopter steps up. This dog has barely lived. Please don’t let this be the end.
