I love how this movie tries to portray the backroom as a place that is forgotten, and tried to replace that place (or person) as how people remember it. not some level with monsters in each level that basically makes it a video games

i think how the backrooms were portrayed in this movie was such a deep and intriguing concept. much like memories, it holds onto the past but can’t seem to remember all the details. and the more time that passes, the more times you try to recall the past, the less accurate you get.

I just find it amazing how Clark's character found a strange comfort in the backrooms. This movie is exactly how I've been trying to describe the backrooms for AGES. I've always found a strange comfort with exploring the idea of it, ive always described it as a lost memory-or a distorted memory- yet i couldn't ever describe it as well as the movie presented it

this scene and really the movie in general is so important because not only is it a deep reflection of clarks character, but it’s also a meta reflection on how lonely people desired to disappear and took solitude in the backrooms lonliness because of that, it’s a reflection on why our generation love the backrooms so much. And it’s the main reason why we can relate to Clark. What a brilliant movie bro.
