The thing is people just assumed Morocco had some Cinderella run in 2022 and it was a once in a lifetime thing. But this Morocco team is so much better, so much more structured than the last one it’d be crazy to look at it and not think they’ll go far. You can call me crazy, but Morocco is the future of international football, they are the blueprint for all these teams. But it’s not even just them everybody is underestimating the tactical leap that so many of these underdog teams have taken over the past few years and the talent gap is closing. You can have all the stars you want, but teams like Ecuador, Senegal, Columbia, Ivory Coast and Japan have that team synergy that teams like France, Brazil and England lack so much. I would not be surprised at all if a new team wins the World Cup this year, and if not this year in 2030.

Great video. I think we saw it today on a smaller scale with Australia v Turkey. You saw Australia, a well-driven team with almost no recognisable stars vs Turkey, a team with a few real stars but no plan as a team at all except hope for a moment of magic from Guler, Yildiz, Calhanoglu.

The reality is that international football is about 75% individual quality. You might occasionally get the very well-structured team that does well but most of the time it's decided by individual quality. Take the game for example. Morocco outplayed Brazil but they still drew. Why? Cos of a moment from Vini.

I used to be a Brazil fun, I cried when they were knocked out by Belgium on 2018...bt now, the players ain't showing me why I should support them...on paper they look unstoppable bt on the pitch, they are disjointed more worde tha Real Madrid this season in terms cohesion, chemistry...the performances are just not there

I'm Brazilian and this is the WORST Brazil team I've ever seen. Estevao and J Pedro might have changed things a bit, but I don't think Ancelotti has picked the best squad or is picking the best team. Everything feels unbalanced. Neymar should be no where near the tournament either. I agree with your point about the midfield.
