I like to think it was Claudia- that she got her second chance, was reborn with no memories of that life. She’s a clean slate and can enjoy the feeling of the sun on her face, that she has an apartment with a cat and she still writes in her diary, that sometimes she’ll see something that reminds her of life before and for a moment she can see it but then it’ll fade away. That she sees posters and billboards with lestat’s face and can’t remember why he’s so familiar, that she caught a glimpse of Louis and almost stopped. I know it probably not possible but I like to think she still got her happy ending, that she got to heal and grow up and get old and grey like she deserved too
