you can also take apart that aluminium box which is called magnetron inside of it is anod and catod(copper) take out a coil and pray aluminium off of it and you have bit more copper

U gotta be careful because most microwaves have a piece of beryllium wich can be deadly if you accidentally breathe in its dust

Transformer will be aluminium so will the fan motor with the red windings. Waste of time stripping modern microwaves.

Well yes, the capacitor can hold an current, but over the idk how many i ever did there never was a current in it
