After my c section my nurse literally told me I had to get up and change my baby diaper not even a day later the same night I hope I have a different nurse this time 😫😭

I was told this too. I have severe insomnia and at the time undiagnosed sleep apnea. I asked for help and they brought the baby back every two hours, right as I was finally falling asleep. I asked for more help and they told me to get used to it. I was awake for 3 days straight and delusional by the time I was released to go home. This happened with all 5 deliveries.

Literally 🤣 my nurse told me if I need a break let her know she’ll keep her with her … I slept so mf good . Woke up and walked up the hall she was feeding her . Was calling my baby nugget and everything 😭

I never said no to a nursery stay. I always knew baby was in the best hands they could be in and lord knows those nurses were loving on them. They want you to prioritize your healing and health because you’re right, the moment you leave, you don’t have those extra hands.

I literally go home today I had my son Friday bus c section and yes I ask the nurse they could get him for a few hours so I can get sleep but Shid ion trust people so I’m like yeah bring me my baby back…

I can’t stand when people argue that you should get into a routine immediately after giving birth. That you should be independent with the baby right away. They seem to forget how insanely taxing it is on your body mind and soul. You have every right to recover with your baby. Meaning they can help out while you rest, eat, shower, etc. it’s not gonna ruin your experience when you take them home later on.
