I agree but at the same time Lohen sq was in a way a way for hoyo to address the manga and tie loose knots. The manga was never really mentioned or talked about in game so it sorter make sense for it to have been talked about at some point. Lohen being a perfect target for this, tho I kinda feel like it should’ve been addressed in an archon quest abt this or something.

all it did was make me more confused tbh. They show that one glimpse of dottore but we have no idea if that's js our association of dottore or the dottore that was involved. They don't talk abt how they knew that the dottore in mondstat was a segment which makes no sense. Also is webtorre design officially retconned??? Bc they say segment but webtorre wasnt shown in the segment clip of the animation

OMG YEAH! Before NodKrai, I was expecting Sandrone to be a weekly boss!! She could’ve been someone who executes Dottore’s plans (so he’s not everyone’s scapegoat) or just be her own villain with the goal to turn Nod Krai into a surveillance ground to collect intel for the Fatui (especially as she made Katherine who literally tracks all our daily commissions) - a person who has that much information on us could be THE boss that is smart enough to counter most of Traveller’s attack patterns, making her an exciting enemy to encounter. Also, Pulonia was such wasted potential as he could’ve been a really cool robot to fight (and Sandrone herself merging with it in the 2nd phase), or he could’ve been playable along with her kit… but we’ll never get that 😢

his storyquest felt so useless to the overall story too!!! i’m still so angry they wrapped up an important plot point for MULTIPLE characters and it was in the story quest of a character we just learnt of a few patches ago ……. such a bad decision on hoyo’s part

It took a problem that was already solved and unsolved it, just to solve it off-screen right after💔 Lohen’s story quest was genuinely my least favorite sq ive ever done, even if I like his character. It BARELY dives into his past(yes it said that he almost got experimented on, but that’s just about it), doesn’t further meaningful connections, couldn’t be bothered to make its own antagonist and basically copied the manga’s, AND the cutscene was actually the most boring animation I’ve ever seen. Yes, hoyo, we know that putting the character in a black void and then making him stumble around for a couple seconds is a way you’re cheaping out on the cost of his sq.

se fosse stata una story quest' su diluc, sarebbe stato decisamente meglio, visto che ha dei motivi validi e una lore già pre-stabilita, senza contare che anche diluc è un PG grigio, ma nel gioco non si vede cof cof

maybe cuz its LOHEN’S story quest based on his experience?? It wouldve been unrealistic if he met dottore cuz dottores a busy man. Also Rerir existed if u forgot 😭😭 Though I do agree it is annoyingly repetitive when Dottore is the reason for everything but it js shows how hes done alot of bad things which makes complete sense cuz he doesnt care abt the consequences and has like so many segments doing random things so it is kinda lore-accurate
